You’ve covered all the points on this site except how to easily obtain insurance papers (or blank ones) so costs can be submitted easily for reimbursement after surgical/medical procedures. Help! Peggy Ross
Hello, @Peggy Ross,
Thank you for asking how to easily obtain an insurance claim form. Here is a quick link to a printable PDF form: Kroger Pet Insurance claim form.
Also, in the future you can easily find this form on our website any time. Simply go to the page Pet Insurance Claim, and you will see link to view and print a PDF of the claim form.
Please let us know if you have further questions!
Hello,
You talk all about dogs and cats, what about our feathered freinds? Parrots
Mel
@Mel,
Thanks for your inquiry. At this time, we only offer dog insurance and cat insurance; however, we love all small animals, including parrots!
Does this insurance cover any animal clinic/hospitals, for example animal alliance in la marque?
-Sonia Alvarez
@Sonia Alvarez,
Thank you for the great question. The way our pet insurance policies work is through a reimbursement process, regardless of which clinic or vet you visit. Once you have visited your vet, you file a claim to be reimbursed up to 90% of the cost (which is based on what type of policy you have purchased and the reason for your vet visit).
To ensure you are aware of the type of coverage you are purchasing and how the reimbursement process works, we strongly recommend calling our pet insurance representatives to discuss your pet’s needs, and determine your best plan for coverage (866-690-7387).
Does your insurance cover heartworms? I goy my dog from Humane Society & when I too her to the vet. she tested positive.
Thanks, Barbara
@Barbara,
Thanks for the inquiry! You probably have several options to help get your dog treated right away at little to no cost to you. First, contact us to discuss your pet’s insurance coverage rate based on what works for your budget at needs. At this time, you can also discuss if the heart worm condition is considered preexisting.
Next, be sure to contact the humane society where you adopted the dog. It is important the entity is made aware that this dog is infected, and see if they have a solution to getting her treated, ideally one that is free to you.
Best of luck!
We have a lot more than 3 pets. Is there a bulk rate discount? I am looking forward to being a veterinarian in the future, but right now I have taken in many animals that have been abandoned on the highway near my home. We have 4 dogs, 2 rabbits, 3 cats, some fish and a bearded dragon. We have 7 puppies as well but they are now over 8 wks old and are up for adoption and going quick. Is there a plan to cover more than 3 pets?
@Cheyenne
We appreciate your efforts to rescue all those abandoned animals. It’s a shame they were left behind, but they are fortunate to get a second chance with you.
Regarding available insurance plans, there are several pet insurance plans available. Please feel free to call our pet insurance specialists directly to determine which plan is best for you: 866-690-7387.
Congratulations on your plans to become a veterinarian!
Best of Luck!
